The finest electrical workers in the state of Texas receive their training through Houston Electrical Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee Programs. 

 

The programs are sponsored jointly by Labor and Management. This is a model educational partnership which produces the best-trained, most up-to-date electricians and telecommunications technicians in the country. 

The recruitment, selection, employment and training of apprentices during their apprenticeship, shall be without discrimination because of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, disability, genetic information, or age—except the applicant must be at least 18 years of age.  The JATC does not, and will not, discriminate against a qualified individual with a disability because of the disability of such individual.

APPLICATIONS

THE HOUSTON JATC CHARGES A $25 APPLICATION FEE. MONEY ORDERS ONLY WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR THE $25 FEE.

The Houston JATC takes Applications every Wednesday (except holidays) throughout the year.

Applications are taken in person at our school campus at 108 Covern Street, Houston, TX 77061 from 9am to 11am or from 1pm to 3pm (WEDNESDAYS ONLY).
